There’s an undeniable rush that comes with opening a new coffee shop, and this one feels extra special—our 5th location in Puerto Rico and our 26th overall. From the moment we started 787 Coffee, our mission was simple: to bring the freshest, most flavorful coffee from our farm in Puerto Rico to coffee lovers everywhere. De Puerto Rico Pal’ Mundo. Each new shop represents growth, but more importantly, it’s an opportunity to connect with a new community.
Opening a new location is about so much more than setting up a shop. It’s about bringing our passion for farm-to-cup coffee to more humans, and sharing a piece of Puerto Rico’s rich coffee culture. This new shop is a testament to resilience, teamwork, and the drive to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the coffee industry. Every single time, it feels like the first.
For me, as a business owner, it’s a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a thriving system of coffee shops across New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico. But with each new opening, the excitement remains the same. The thrill of seeing a new space come to life, watching our loyal and caffeinated customers walk through the doors for the first time, and knowing that this is just the beginning of new relationships built over a cup of coffee—it’s incomparable.
